Printellect Labs
About us

Helping young people get to grips with the technology around them.

Printellect Labs wants hands-on STEM to be something every young person can try, wherever they learn and whatever their starting point.

Our story

Good technology should feel within reach.

3D printing costs less now than it ever has. The thing that still stops young people getting started is rarely the kit. More often it is simply never having had the chance, or the confidence, to try.

We started Printellect Labs to change that. We bring real machines, real tools and patient guidance straight into classrooms, halls and campsites, so young people find out that building with technology is something they can do right now.

Every workshop is kept simple and hands-on, so people leave with something they made and the confidence to carry on.

What we stand for.

Inclusive

No prior knowledge needed. Our sessions suit a range of ages and abilities, so everyone can join in and get somewhere.

Hands-on

Real machines, real tools, and something real to take home. It sticks when you make it yourself.

On-site

We bring the lab to you, at schools, Scout groups and events anywhere in the UK.

In a session

From first idea to finished build.

Design and 3D print

Model an idea in Tinkercad, slice it, and watch it print into something to take home.

Code and build

Try electronics and programming with Arduino and other kit that is easy to pick up.
